What would the 'experts' out there make of this latest cheapo deal form Aldi.....

    http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/special_buys3_12796.htm

thinking of buying it for a mobile home that the inlaws have?

If and when RTE goes digital will this dish and box be able to pick it up?

Why not search before posting? This very thread is only halfway down the page:

I hate when Aldi or Lidl sell these units, they are too small unless you are on the east coast, you need a minimum of 60cm dish for proper reception...

Don't waste your money, you wont be able to receive any of the Irish channels free on satellite when they go digital it will be through an Aerial with Mpeg4 decoding so your inlaws will need an Mpeg4 dtt receiver or a New TV with mpeg4 built in. You should contact a local Satellite/Aerial rigger to sort out tv reception for them
