    Hi guys... Anyone out there ever used the blue bluebird mic.. Seen one in x music the other day... Never believed in love at first sight before but;).... Dont even know what is sounds like but it sure does look pretty....

    no, i just wouldnt buy anything on the way it looked , particulalry mics

    only on how they will sound.

    I've used one, it was ideal on a real gravel like vocal a while back where a U-87 etc. was too detailed.

    It's a nice mic for the money alright, I reckon it would be on par with some of the hand held vocal condensors like the sm-87 or the handheld neumann.

    I don't know what it woud be like for instruments though, but it sure is pretty.

    Go on, spoil yourself :D

    Think i spoiled myself enough already... Just bought a new takamine semi acoustic yesterday... Went to x music and they said it was out of stock and end of the line...

    Fair play.. The guys got in touch with a few other dublin shops and the takamines sales guy but to no avail... Purchased it online yesterday...

    Gonna be like christmas morning when this arrives during the week..
