This might be an incredibly optimistic question but is there any sign on bonus for any of the Big 4? Only asking because I am moving up to Dublin when I start (E&Y) and not quite sure on what money I'm going to survive on in the first month. Thanks :D

Last year the first years didn't receive any bonuses so I highly doubt you'll be getting anything from them!

A sign on bonus is pretty standard with the Big 4 in the UK so its not exactly a ridiculous question.

Do people reckon there are big differences in other ways in training in Big 4 firms in Ireland compared to Britain?

When I joined one of the Big 4, sign on bonuses were all the rage. EY gave a free grand. PWC gave a Salary advance and Deloitte gave a free holiday. I don't think KPMG did anything though.
