Hey, I'm just wondering is the art exam on 4th of May? I just looked it up on one website and it said the exam is on the 4th and the questions were meant to be distributed on the 26th but my brother never got any questions and thought that the exam was on the 14th? So just wondering if you guys could clear up the confusion? Thanks

Emm For your object you pick one item from caterogy A or B
    A
    Natural Forms
Apples in an open paper bag
Broken egg shells in open egg carton
    Carrot with green foliage attached
    Driftwood
    Flowers and shrubs
    Grapes on the vine
    Mushrooms, some sliced and quartered
    Orange half peeled
    Selection of grapes and berries
    Sticks and stones
    Sods of turf
    or
    B
    Man Made Forms
    Clothes Brush
    Bunch of Keys
    Basket of Clothes pegs
    Hurling Helmet
    Machine part
    Musical instrument
    Nuts and bolts
    Open packet of biscuits
Pens and pencils in coffee mug
    Stack of magazines
    Toolbox showing tools

Then you have to draw your model. The model will be sitting down holding a plastic bottle of water and a newspaper infront of them. You have the choice of drawing the full model or just as far as the shoulders.

I can write out the exact pose of the model if you want, but you dont really need to worry about that, coz the teacher or whoevers in charge would put the model into posistion.

    Hope this helped! :)

"The live model provided for this drawing examination should be seated on a chair in a relaxed position.
Both feet of the model should be resting on the floor, with the left foot behind the right foot.
The model should be holding a plastic bottle of water in the right hand.
The left hand should be resting across the front of the body, holding a rolled newspaper.
The model should be looking forwards.
All the models facial features must be visible to the candidates."

You are required to make a drawing of the live model showing the complete pose.
    or
You are required to make a drawing of the live model showing the head and shoulders. All facial features visible to you must be recorded in your drawing.

Just to say, the guideline date for the school is the 4th but many schools do it on a different day as it would be impractical for them. For example I have mine on Friday.
