Alps: Tour Guides Recommendation

    Hello,
    I am wondering if anyone on the forum could recommend a place to stay in the Alps?
    I am looking for a small style tour company which provides accommodation, food and guided hikes.

    I'm not fussy about what part of the Alps as long as it is scenic and easy to get to from Dublin.

    Essentially, I'm looking for feedback from any places you guys might have stayed with for a hill-walking holiday.

    many thanks

    P

    Hi Raam,

    don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for but I did this course in June '09.
    Summits and Skills 4000m.

    You move around from Switzerland to France to Italy. So the accommodation is different each time. Sometimes we were in hotels and sometimes we were staying in overnight huts up the mountain.

    I wrote a post about it here;
    Course review.
    Hope this helps.

    Dakan, thank you for the response.
    We had hoped to stay in the same accommodation for the entire trip as the plan is to have a relaxing walking holiday, but I shall check out your recommendations anyway

    Found this on google, might be suitable to you. It can definately be done cheaper when you have an area in mind, just rent your own chalet/apartment and use a guide book.
