Summer is here at last. College is over. The years are flying.

I'm starting the 800km walk on the Camino de Santiago later this month. I was going to do the main route, the Camino Francés, but then I found there's another route which goes along the northern coast of Spain named the Camino del Norte so I'm now seriously thinking about doing that as I'd prefer to be near the sea, although I don't know anybody who has walked it to get a comparison to the Camino Francés. When I come home in early July I'll be teaching English.

What are your plans for this summer?

Jealous! The Camino is gonna be awesome no matter which route you choose.

Due to extreme lack of money this year I'm mostly going to be learning the bodhrán and (hopefully) having cheap visits with friends around the country.

    Have a lovely summer :)

    Lá Féile Bealtaine!

Summer is still deadly, even if the weather is changeable. you gotta love those 18 hours of daylight!!!! Creates so much energy. I'm heading into town at lunchtime for pints, and am looking forward to the buzz of Dublin town on a warm(ish) and blue-sky(ish) day!!!

I feckin love May thru October in Ireland!!!!

Not when it's 18 hours of dullness and grey.

Maybe for you it's over, I've a 15,000 word thesis to do and have to hand it in on September.

I know some people who actually do. I can't understand this. I'd rather it'd get dark early so I can turn the lights on then have it grey, dull and dismal from 6 in the morning to 11 at night. Grey is pretty much the most depressing colour I can think of. Ironically it just pissed down rain as I started to write this post.
