I see Sky 1 are going to show Lost's Top 10 Scenes after they show the Finale. So it got me thinking what is the best Lost Scene.

Personally my fav is the Season 1 finale, where Locke is banging on the Hatch door and suddenly the light comes on.

Of course The Constant episode had the very emotional scene with Des talking to Penny.

And my other fav is the Season 5 finale, with Jacob and MiB siiting on the beach. Our first encounter with Jacob.

My favourite scene is probably John Locke getting to his feet in Walkabout followed by him watching his wheelchair burn. I got chills watching that and it's my favourite scene from my favourite character.

I also like the scene from season 1 in which Sawyer, Jin, Michael and Walt leave on the raft as Vincent swims out to them, then the big pan out as they sail off into the ocean.

The scene where Ben is rumbled by Sayid as he pretends to be Henry is another favourite.

I would also have to give a mention to the scene where Michael kills Ana Lucia and Libby, opens the door for Ben and then turns the gun on himself. My jaw was on the floor when that happened and it took me several minutes to pick it up.

So many. As you said when the light comes on, my favourite is that from desmonds POV. When you first see it and things just click in your head :D
OR the season 2 intro. Another desmond one, make your own kind of music, fantastic. Locke talkin about michelangelo. The incident intro with jacob and mib, have seen it so many times i could actually act it. The season 3 intro, who guessed it was set on the island before they saw the plane break apart?

Ben eatin the cereal when he was known as henry gale, got any milk? i reckon that scene is what glued his place in the lost cast.

loads more but i cant think of em now

Ah christ... there's far too many!

But out of the 1st season - the Locke revelation in Walkabout floored me, and this scene is one I'll always remember as being the first time I really took heed of Giacchino's superb music along with the feeling the creators knew exactly how to pull the audience in:

Has to be the intro to season 2, biggest WTF moment in any TV show or movie I've seen.

There is just so bloody many of them it's almost impossible to choose.

I reckon Season 3 final scene was the biggest WTF moment though. Just genius writing.

Absolutely loved the Season 5 finale opener as well though. Love the Jacob intro and the interaction with the MiB.

For me the biggest WTF moment was this:

We'd invested the season in Locke being brought back to life by the island, only to have the rug pulled from under our feet...

This is quite literally an impossible question for me. So many
But I will opt with the Locke wheelchair reveal in Walkabout. The main reason I do that is because is what the scene which is when you knew Lost was going to be a bit special and really showed that the writers were capable of pulling this off and as such everything else that happens comes from this.

I loved the scene towards the end of season 1, where Sawyer told Jack about meeting Christian in the pub in Sydney. Was really well done, and one of the few times they got along.

Also loved the Des-Penny phonecall, season 5 opener with Jacob and Flocke, Shannons legs, the raft taking off, Jack kicking Ethan's ass, the Hatch exploding, Ecko coming face to face with smokie, "See you in another life, brutha" before the losties were found, the first time we saw Christian on the beach in season 1, Charlie throwing the drugs in the fire, not Penny's boat, Jack's leap of faith (with the dynamite and off the boat) everything Terry O'Quinn did....

Bloody hell, i could honestly go on and on for ages :D

Hard to chose only one so i'll pick my favourite scene from each Season.

Season 1: Has to be the raft taking off and being so close to rescue when the Others come and take Walt and blow up the raft. It goes from such happiness and excitment to just "Oh My God." Totally didnt see it coming.

Season 2: The opening scene was cool, meeting Desmond for the first time. The whole Ben acting as Henry Gale was really good, especially the scene where he's having breakfast with Jack and Locke - "You guys got any milk?". But my fave was when Locke lets the hatch timer run down and Des realises it was his fault the plane crashed and Locke realisies he was wrong when the hatch was about to implode.

Season 3: Expose.....................................only joking :D. I think the best scenes were from the 2 part season finale "Through the Looking Glass". Charlie drowning (very sad), the excitment that they might finally be rescued, Locke throwing the knife into Naomis back and of course "We have to go back Kate!"

Season 4: This has to be my favourite Season of Lost. The introduction of the freighter people was cool and added something new to the show. Definately the best scene was in "The Constant" with the phone call between Desmond and Penny. What a great moment, just fantastic. Oh, and seeing Locke in the coffin.

Season 5: The whole time travel thing was good. Especially when Locke saw the light shooting up from the hatch in the distance and Sawyer seeing Kate help Claire giving birth in the jungle. But the opening to "The Incident" was good, showing Jacob and MIB on the beach.

Season 6: Well with 4 episodes left to go i'll pick my favourite scene so far. It is from "Happily Ever After" when Charlie drives Desmonds car into the river and Des gets a flash of Charlies hand saying "Not Penny's Boat" and he realises there's something going on and there's another world they lived through. Coooollll. But hopefully the upcoming episodes will have more great scenes.

Many fine scenes have been highlighted, my favourite is probably the one basquille noted, where Charlie is found hanging. Really had me at the edge of my seat!

In no particular order, other than as I think of them:

    a) Shannon's death - it was a good step for Sayid's character development, and she was rather annoying.

    b) Charlie's sacrifice - a completely selfless act of love.

    c) Bernard and Rose reunited - they seem to want for nothing, and happen to have gone pretty much unscathed while the world falls down around them. Perhaps the lesson is to be content with what you have.

    d) Any number of scenes involving Hurley.

The first of many favourite scenes, for me, was in S1 'Raised By Another'. When Hurley runs to Jack to tell him that one of the people at the camp wasn't on the plane, and then we see Ethan just standing in the middle of the trees, staring at Claire. Ahh, it gave me the heeby-jeebies!

In Season 1, when they use Claire as bait to get Ethan. Just as everything seems to have calmed down and Ethan is lying on the ground...Charlie shoots him dead. Classic moment, totally unexpected.

The Season 3 finale had that fantastic scene where Bernard and Sayid shoot the dynamite but Jin misses and the ensuing survivor/other scuffle. Also when Hurley comes flying through the jungle in the VW in the same episode.

This is my favourite scene from season 6 so far anyway, and one of my all time favourites.

Also, from the end of Season 1
