    Hi All,

Has anyone an idea of the delay between applying for a driving test and being called for it? I presume it depends on the location where you apply, but I'd assume it's definitely shorter than the car test anyway?

    Great stuff! Congratulations!!! :)

I wouldn't consider 6 weeks bad at all, would be great if it was something similar for me also. I'll definitely be going for a few lessons beforehand. Thanks for the advice!

Tallaght, seven months first time(missed it as I ended up leaving the country for a long time), nine months the second time. Would advise against applying there.

Tallaght would be a bit out of my way. Should have mentioned I'd be applying for it in Limerick. Seems like there seems to be a big difference depending on where you apply for it!

Only thing I can do is contact the DTC and ask them how big a backlog they have!

For motorbike? I thought the only two centers in Dublin were Tallaght and Finglas.
