New build. Out of the loop. Recommendations?

    Hi there!

    Ive been out of the technology loop at the moment, so I don't really know what is what.

    I have a budget of 300 / 350 euros.

    I have a graphics card, a dvd writer and a monitor. So I just need the rest.

    Any one have any good recommendations?

    What make and model is the graphics card and what size is the monitor?

    Any particular uses or is it just general web browsing and office?

    Also do you have an OS or any plans because a copy of win 7 will set you back a 100 quid

    The graphics card is a Gefore FX 6600 256mb. Would some integrated graphics be better than this at this stage?

    The monitor is a 19inch flatscreen I think.

    PC is for home usage, internet, office, photos, printing scanning, watching the odd movie.. thats about it.

    I have plans for OS, does not impact on budget given.

    you could easily pick up a second hand computer on adverts.ie for €300 that will easily suit your requirements.
