My English is not well for Junior Cert. My parents are insisting I do higher level so there is no question about changing levels. I struggle with both papers and my mock result was a D.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me get my grade up?
    Thanks a million.

Try doing some of the past questions. I got a D in the mocks but that was mainly because of Paper 2. I got D's for most of the questions in it but now I've been doing them and I've been able to bring them up by 20%.

Jaygee, is English not your first language?
If not, read as much as you can, keep an eye on the grammar and punctuation in everything you read.

What drama and novel are you doing? Do you have any poems prepared? Just look through the exam papers - prepare a theme, character and scene question for your novel and drama i.e Write about the theme in the drama/novel. Often they may not use the word theme and use concept, message, issue. All these mean theme so prepare a theme question and if a theme question comes up your sorted :pac: Also prepare a character you like/dislike - there's your character question. Scene question - major scene (pivotal scene) that changed the play, and know quotes from the opening and closing scene just incase (all these points go with both your drama and novel)

For poetry just know quotes from poems - images/messages you liked/had an impact on you. Very common questions that they try to "hide" by using different words - like I said - issue, concept, idea, message. I did all this before the mock and got an A

    Best of luck ! :D

I'm doing TKAM as well. It's not that hard. We've been doing the key points and studying relationships in the story.
