REPEAT EXAMS

Can somebody clarify something for me:

If you repeat an exam and pass then you get 40% / Pass, correct?

But what does it say on your transcript? Say you get 85% on the exam. Does it say 85% / Pass (but still only worth 40) on your transcript, or does it still say 40% for your exam grade?

As far as I know it would say 85% on the results transcript but would only be worth 40%

No I'm pretty sure that no matter what you get in the repeat you'll be told you got 40% providing you passed.

I did one repeat last year and the result I got was 62% on the transcript. I think it was only actually counted as 40% though.
