I just bought a scarfier blade for my push mower.

It looks like a normal blade but it has a spring tine on each end of
    the blade.

Has anyone used them? do they do the job?

will it make sh*t of my mower?

My dad (he's the boss in our garden :)) has done that to our lawn. It takes up the "brown stuff" - tatch.

AFAIK he has not had a problem with the mower.

Do you mind me asking where you got it?

I used weed and feed, which has killed off the moss, but I underestimated the effort to rake it up.

i got it here in limerick city

€25 (good idea to get spare tines as well), does a good job but you may still have to rake off the moss as well depending on how established it is.
