There's a link on the site to a manual download.
It's not in the App Store (which is a bit strange)

    Edit:

    Option 2

If you don't have Android Market on your phone, go to http://m.skyfire.com on your standard Android browser. We'll give you an option to download directly to your device.

If your phone is rooted skyfire should appear in the market if you have already installed market enabler

It's nothing special. I used to skyfire almost exclusively back on my N95 simply because it was faster, nicer looking and more functional. It seems a bit poor on Android though. Pinch to zoom works but it just doesn't feel as refined as the stock browser.

What I can't wait for though is Fennec. That looks seriously good.

just downloaded it. Pretty good, having a slight prob with my x10 playing video. When i click the video icon it comes up loading video, doesnt go further than 50% but it stays right in the middle of the screen while the actual video plays in the background. Am i missing something??

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Sometimes it just won't work properly for me at all - try a different site perhaps and see if it works.

Skyfire seems OK to me but apart from the video it's no better than the builtin browser for me. Opera mini wins on speed.

Went onto their help site, seems to be a prob with x10, a few people have the same issue

Good to know this. Actually one handy thing I noticed is that you can get flash video which in some cases is otherwise unavailable in Ireland. This works both ways though, for example I don't think RTE player or 4-on-demand works.
