    only mananged to hear a bit of this interview today on rte radio 1. basically they were discussing a new tablet to helpl counteract M.D . especially if someone in your family suffers from the condition. this is of interest to me as my father is a sufferer of this. would anyone have more details about the product or anything to add re this condition ?

    It's probably Macushield. However the supplements are generally only of use if you have very early signs of ARMD. If you have a well balanced diet and dont smoke you will minimise your risk. Genetic links arent as stron as with other eye conditions

    could you please tell me what ARMD is?
    I would definitely be interested in anything that is proven to reduce MD!!

    Sorry ARMD is the same as MD.
    ARMD= age-releated macular degeneration
