Ok i have appaerently haggled the owner in an establishment [snipped] in relation to a full body kit / spray / and fitting. Heres what he thinks is the good deal.

To be fitted on Audi A4 '03

    Kit 950 euro
    spoiler 80 euro
exhaust x 2 (one real, one dud) 70 euro
    fitting 700 euro
    Total 1800 euro.

Any opinions? Am i being ripped on? Should i try somewhere else? Thanks.

Sorry you are right but i couldn't resist,so..

Kit 950 euro - Is it fibre glass or plastic? you sounds like fibre glass prices to me,you should avoid fibre glass and try buy else where to save money

spoiler 80 euro - sounds about right for a spoiler

exhaust x 2 (one real, one dud) 70 euro -What exactly are you getting? a back box? two bolt on tips? why have one dud ?

fitting 700 euro - Is that including painting? sounds a bit cheap to me to be honest, have you seen some of the kits he has fitted and painted previously? try find one he did a year or more ago to see how it has held up.

Also if you are intent on going this route you need to consider other things like wheels? lowering?

Personally id take that 1800 euro and lower it right and buy a decent set of wheels (not reps) and have a nice looking A4,why copy every other chickened wired Rs4 TDI out there?

1800 euro spent on a '03 A4? Are you sure it's worth it? What could you get for A4 plus 1800?

Ok the material on the kit is some sort of "indistructable" plastic. He bent it and dropped it in front of me to demonstrate. He said if you kerb it, it will not break, the paintwork would be the only damage.

The reason for the two exhausts is because the way the rear bumber is designed. The left one is the real one and the right one is a matching dud.

I dont have rs4 alloys thank you very much! :pac:. I have 17 inch low profile with a chrome / custom design which are not a replication.

He said the fitting includes the spraying of the body kit.

He said not to lower it because i dont want to slap off speed ramps, the way the body kit is designed is within nct specification. If you want it can be lowered but i would rather not.

    Thats every thing i think.

Just my opinion but an A4 with a bodykit at standard ride height on 17's will look awful, seriously if it was i'd buy decent coil overs and decent wheels and be happy.

I appreciate your opinion and your help but do you think it is still a good or bad offer value wise? Also if i get it lowered a little on the 17's it will look better then?

Im in the same situation....I was looking for a price for fitting a kit....and someone to fit it!! It has the normal black bumpers below a blue paint job and I'm sort of unhappy with it?! I could get it lowered and some nice RS6's but I'm wondering will it look odd with black bumpers? ....been as RS4 kits seem to be standard?! (time for some serious p*** taking):D
