So my friend in BESS has just realized that he has gone through 2nd year 5 credits short of the required 60. Nothing has been said to him all year, hes currently sitting his exams with no problems. Does anyone know if this has happened to anyone before or what the procedure could be?

His timetable for the year consisted of subjects that only added up to 55..and he cant remember what else he selected last year to meet the required 60 (which hes certain he did) on the form

Go straight to the department and explain the situation to them. See what they can do for him.

Maybe he could submit a researched essay on an approved topic or something to make up the credits. Normally departments aren't out to actively screw students over on things like this.

But he really does need to see them ASAP. Maybe his tutor, too.

Maybe he could take up a subject during the summer and sit it during supplementals?
