If theres anything that gets me:mad: its bookies who refuse to payout when a customer wins, i found this on 2+2 forum.

My bro signs up for an account at betfred and deposits £200 into the casino, this is matched with a welcome bonus of £200. He then goes to roullete and whacks the whole £400 on black. Note in the terms and conditions it states that roullete does not count to the wagering required but it DOES NOT STATE that you cannot PLAY it. This wins and my bro now has £800. Before he can withdraw he has to play £40,000 worth of bets on blackjack, this is a lot of wagering and he does it at £50 a hand where he runs like ussain bolt and wins over £3000. Now he has completed the requirements the money shows as cash in his account and is withdrawable however since its the weekend he logs off and leaves the money there. Logging in last night they have taken the entire balance and refunded just £200 that he deposited.

Thats a copy paste from my facebook post describing the incident. Since then the casino manager phoned my brother and told him hes not getting the money because they think him betting £400 on black on roullete is "safe" (honestly thats what they said, fcuking unreal imo). They cited a general term and condition where it says they can do whatever they want basically as the reason for doing this. The manager agreed that the first deposit terms and conditions did not say you cant play roullete (although he still wasnt going to pay), that has now however been changed as of last night if you look now tho. I have a screenshot for my bro of when it didnt say that tho.

A hero did step up to the plate in the shape of THEGOATIAN who knows some guys at betfred etc and argued my brothers case for him with him. I'm really thankfull to THEGOATIAN for doing this and although they did pester the casino manager at betfred the guy is still adamant he is not gonna pay my brother his winnings. Fcuking outrageous if you ask me, but big props to the goat for tryin to help.

Just putting it out there as a HU incase anyone fancied a punt at betfred, its not a great choice when if you lose they will ship your money but if you win they wont pay you. Dont think my bros gonna see his 3.4k anytime now.

    Jez

regardless of how true the whole scenario is, the basis is true. Bookies/Casinos are snakes. filthy bastards who will do anythingto take your money and anything not to pay out.

Betfred are signed up with them. If you're brothers complaint is genuine then report it.

Not enough people go down this route. Complaining on forums gets you nothing.

They have just done the same with me.

Recently set up an account with them,i deposited 50 quid lost, few days later i put in a 100quid lost,a few days later i put in another 50 and i won 450 quid, when i tried to withdraw it they blocked my account and said as i had an account before (maybe 5 years ago) and the address didn't match they were blocking my account and NOT paying me out as it was fraud.

i suspect if i hadn't of won they would have had no problems wit me lodging in more money again and again.surely they are committing a crime with this practice?

could you tell me how your brothers case ended up?

Please don't dig up old threads, and there's a Bitch/Moan thread about bookies stickied at the top of the forum.
