How would you celebrate if you won a case in The High Court?

I have a very big case coming up in the near future, and have a good chance of winning. It means the world to me, because I have gone through absolute hell and back. If you won a case in the High Court, where your life was so detrimently effected, and won the case, how would you celebrate the win? I have thought about it, and if I won my case... I think I would collapse, and cry with happiness! After that I'm not sure what I would do, maybe try and stop crying!!

Pull your shirt over your head....do a lap of the courtroom....then do a starfish dive towards whatever is the equivalent of a corner flag....it's a world cup year.....enjoy your victory.

My case is so absolutely horrific, that it may go public, because its a matter of national significance. I am an ordinary girl fighting against some powerful people, who have destroyed my life. Its just me, but if 99% of irish people were in my position they would have dropped the entire thing a long time ago, never mind going the High Court. I am a person who won't put up with crap, and being treated deliberately badly, and I hope and wish that irish people would do the same if they were placed in a terribly injust situation

That would probably land you back in court but it would be SO worth it :pac:

It would be some sickener to win in the High Court, celebrate and then have it all reversed by the Supreme Court.

I'll be more than happy to go to The Supreme Court or further, and have the grounds to do so.

Contrary to the US - I believe in Ireland one is usually awarded costs when the case is decided in your favour... hence less cases of pro-bono work here (no, not pro-U2 work :P )

OP - I'd take time out and enjoy life again. I'm sure a HC case will have been taking up your life for some time. And as mentioned, if it's of such key importance you'll have to steel yourself for a supreme court appeal.

*checks forum he's on* - oh, I mean, kiss the judge and release some party poppers in the courtroom...

Don't go mad on the drink if you've an interview and job to do the next day though....that might end up an awful mess....

I'd start a thread in AH with a tenuously lighthearted premise, hoping people will ask me what my court case was about.
