Bellinter driving range near Royal Tara is close. The pro there - Kevin Garvey has a great reputation for lessons.

Hiya, what is the criteria for using the range at that County Meath Golf Course?? I've just started lessons and would like to get to a driving range a couple of days a week to put what I learned into practice.

Do I have to be a member?
Can I just turn up and if so, who do I contact re using the driving range??
    What time does it close???

The one at Navan racecourse is probably your closest public one.

Thanks very much, be outta work soon so will head up and see if I can hit a few balls. 130 odd yards, if I get anywhere near that i'll be delighted :)

Got a couple of nice pointers off a guy at the driving range there tonight. It's nice to have people who will pass on some of their experience to newbies, hopefully one day I can do the same.
If you're on here, thanks very much :)
