Average Training Speed/Cadence

Hi, can anyone tell me what average speed is normal for an enthusiastic (but relatively inexperienced) cyclist? I started cycle training (for Triathlons) last year. I average around 30km/h on a typical 50km circuit (including some hills - Howth Head). Is this about average or slow? Also, what is the typical cadence over a circuit of that distance? Cheers in advance.

Thanks for the reply. That is on my own, going at a steady pace, Zone 3 (of 5) with a HRM.

It is all completely relative. I can do an average of 30km/h around the coast on my own without too much pushing. On trips to Wicklow is can drop below 20km/h depending on wind/route/distance.
Cadence too differs depending on the route. Flat routes generally average out a higher cadence than those with lots of hills - decents really hit the average cadence
