ariel advice needed

    hi guys, i am looking for some expert advice on which ariel to buy for rte 1,2 and tv3, i bought one in argos last year and the reception is very poor, the model i have tried is called 'megaboost tv ariel,its one of those that you plug in, im in the castlemartyr area of east cork, thanks in advance

    Suggests a C/D group UHF aerial for reception from Dungarvin.
    I think on analogue RTE 1 & 2 use a VDF aerial while TV3 & TG4 use UHF aerial.
    I'm not from the area but hope this helps.
