Screenwriting weekend courses

    Hi,

    I'm interested in getting into screenwriting, but I can't really do the evening courses as they are all too far away (I live in Sligo). Are there ever any weekend courses on?

    We'll be running a weekend one over the summer (based in Dublin city centre, Hatch St) if that's any use to you... :)

    Absolutely! I don't mind travelling down for the weekend but can't physically do it in the evenings after work.

    Are there any more details on this course yet?

    I'm running one in Westport at the end of May. Look me up on IMDB for my CV. Just type in Len Collin.

    It's 28th, 29th and 30th May.

    Venue is the Castlecourt Hotel - Westport.

    Welcome session Friday 28th May between 17.00 18.00 - Then two hour intro.

    Saturday 29th May. Start at 10.30. Break for lunch 13.00, and then 14.00 - 17.00

    Sunday 30th May. Start at 11.00. Break for lunch at 13.00. Then 14.00 - 17.00

    The cost for the course is €120.

    I'll have rates for accommodation nearer the time, but I expect them to be reasonable and there is plenty of rooms in Westport. I can also look into cottage hire for anyone interested.

    I will require a €20 deposit which is non-refundable. That can be sent to:

    Len Collin, Knockrooskey, Westport, Co Mayo. I can also do Paypal if that's more convenient. Just let me know.

    Note to self: Go on boards more often. Disappointed I missed this would loved to have attended. How was it and are there plans for anymore?
