    Could someone tell me what debudding is in relation to strawberries?
    if anyone want to write about a paragraph on it then feel free. have to do it for a project. cant find anything online. thanks :D

    Debudding in fruit usually means taking off some of the buds to make better quality fruit grow - a few good ones rather than a lot of smaller ones. However I am not aware that it is done with strawberries, it would seem to be incredibly labour intensive. You would be more likely to cut off new runners than debud, but that isn't an expert opinion, and probably not a lot of help for your project :D sorry!

    de-budding of strawberries is where you pinch out all the first years flowers to encourage the plant to put its energy into good runner growth and strong fruit production in the following spring.
