I was wondering is there anything in Family Law legislation that states on what date a Judicial Separation come into effect. Is it on the day it was decreed? And if so do you know the Act it comes under. Thank You, ;)

It ''comes into force'' on the day/date the order is made by the Judge.

Dont know if it appears in the 1989 act but common course is that when a judge makes an order, it comes into effect from then ( unless a stay is put on the order until some other date etc)
