    Hi spudz

TMJ is the temperomandibular joint, the joint between your lower jaw and skull. Problems or dysfunction with this joint are common and have many causes and many different solutions.

Some need no treatment, others need treatment so without an examination there is no way to tell you what you may need done. Treatment can range from a soft diet and a few neurofen to a splint to arthroscopy, so go to your dentist and get it seen to. Let us know how you get on.

    Hey Spudz...

Had this problem a couple of years back. It happened when I was laughing!! I knew there was something wrong when I could click it but long story short I was referred to a specialist in Cork who manipulated it back into place. It wasn't too bad and he said I may need surgery if it didn't work but thank god it did! Make sure you get some sort of treatment on it tho or else it has the potential to get worse.

    All the Best

    Acapella
