    Hey,
I'm thinking of moving in to a new place but the only Internet they have is a 3 dongle. The girl told me there's a 15mb/day limit on downloading. My brother though said that it's 10 gigs a month with the 3 dongle.

Just wondering what the jazz is, any help appreciated.

    Regards

If its a Mobile Broadband package then its one of these plans
    http://three.ie/products_services/broadband/index.htm

Depending on plan chosen its either 15GB cap or 10GB cap, even on 3Pay the caps work out like
    Package Price
Broadband Day - 1 day of access (500MB FUP) €5
Broadband Week - 1 week of access (2GB FUP) €10
Broadband Month - 30 days of access (10GB FUP) €25
Out of Bundle charging - Per MB of data 49c

I would say the girl is misinformed

Thanks for the reply. So if she's using 3 broadband at all, it'd be under what you've said? Could it be possible that she's on an old bundle that hasn't been upgraded?

Finally, what's 3 mobile broadband like to use?

    Thanks again

Three never had a 15MB a day limit on their mobile broadband/midband. That sounds like it might be a mobile phone data add-on. Even then, it seems a little on the low side.

Three are fairly universally agreed to be the worst provider in the country, with the poorest Internet service provision. There's a mega-thread at the top of the forum.
