GFC P90 or JG G36C??

Does anyone have any experience with a GFC P90?

Trying to choose between that or a G36C (either a JG or a SRC). I've heard nearly nothing bad about the G36C and that it has great reliability and ease of use but the P90 just looks cool! Tried looking for reviews of the GFC P90 but haven't been able to find much.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I got a GFC P90 off South East Airsoft. As it's my first and only AEG so far I can't really compare it to anything, but all the people I've talked to about it have said that it is really nice straight out of the box. Mine was shooting at about 305 fps with a 0.2g bb really consistently and with a ROF of about 15 rounds per second, i think, can't remember the exact number.

We clocked the GFC P90 at 20rps. And its sweet gun alright.

To be honest either gun would be good to go with, so just get the one you prefer the look of.

Thanks for the advice karnath and dreadlock. A p90 is looking good! One last question thou how's the accuracy on it? And does anyone know how easy it is to upgrade them if I was ever going to do it down the road?

Be careful tho, p90 mags are hard to find vests that can fit them.

Well G36 mags don't have the best vest compatibility either.
Easiest thing to do is get a molle vest and buy the P90 mag pouches (or G36 pouches if you go that route). If you don't have the money to spend on a molle vest. Just get a molle blast belt and put the pouches on that (or do what I do and just use one of the normal 2" heavy duty belt's). You could also put the pouches on a drop leg panel.

The GFC is more then acceptable right out of the box, but if you we're to throw a tightbore barrel and a high quality hopup bucking in it you'd be ready to haul ass.

Pretty much all airsoft guns are the same to work on, but the P90 would be towards the easier end of the scale. Haven't worked on a JG G36C so I can't really say what that's like (I would imagine it would be somewhere in the middle).

the p90's are great i love them, there can be issues with the high caps jamming, i got the m4 mag conversion and then i got a few silverback mid caps for mine, they all work great

as for working on a p90, it takes all of 20 seconds to get the gearbox out and its about another 10 seconds work to get the barrel and hop up out

I have both the JG G36C & GFC P90. The styles of guns are quite different. The G36C is a solid aeg and very reliable. It's also very well designed (the real steel) so is very comfortable to carry/shoot. It's reliable and there are a ton of spares and other parts available so i would recommend it (not just because I have one for sale :))

The GFC P90 is not as good quality in my opinion. Mine has receiver rattle and i've heard of ppl with issues with mags feeding. Aiming down the sights is not as comfortable as with the G36C due to the design but it's more of a CQB gun anyway.

Thanks macaonghusa. Just bought myself the g36c as well on boards to complement my p90. Nice feel to the p90 I think but It is slot of plastic and have the same rattle on the receiver. Fell off my bed last week thou and have broken the piece holding in the clip so gotta try and source that part.

Should have my g36c by mid next week so I'll update this thread then when I've fired plenty bbs thru it.
