Is there anyway of finding a persons mobile number if you have the person's name? Is there such a thing as a "mobile phone" book directory similar to what exists for land line numbers?

    No. It's a different query.

    Ok.
This may not be the best forum for that query.
This is what I think. (I am open to correction on this)
Back when mobiles were more for business. (EirCell days) All nunbers were listed with directory enquries unless you requested ex directory.
I think now its the opposite. AFAIK all numbers are excluded & its only if you request to be listed. Try one of the directory enquiry numbers. All they can say is no.

    Hi there!
Years ago they listed mobile nos on directorys like 11890 etc.. If you login online to ur mobile provider website and edit: directory listing.. this will allow directory to list your number.

If you wish to find someones number, google his or hers name and you might have some success..
As I said above, its very unlikely that you will find a mobile listing though..

Hope this helps, any questions let us know!
