    Hey,
I may be moving in to a new place only for a couple of months. Am I able to quickly get a temporary parking permit that'll do for a short time or would I have to get one for a whole year?

    Thanks

You might now be able to get one at all depending on how many have been given out on the street already and some councils are slow to let you park on adjacent streets.

You can only get a 12 month one and there are a fair few hoops to jump through first.

    Get onto your local council.

It probably depends on your management company but usually you have to get one for 12 months.

    OP,

Your going to have to elaborate.

Are you going to have street parking or private site parking with clampers?

It'll be street parking unfortunately. I may have to find the nearest street that doesn't have parking boxes.

Talk to your local authority, and see what arrangements they can make. They will be best able to advise you.
