[Eve] Battle Report: ships spinners vs UIE

the following is a chronological battle report of our war with UIE

day 1: we went up where they lived in 2 stabbers, everybody was docked or cloaked and dare not stick their heads out to fight us, we hung around shooting at each other until we realised stabbers are probably the worst ships we could ever use for camping a gate in high sec seeing as these guys probably all fly drakes and we dont have webs, we then quietly left and went home

day 2: spyra apparently afk camped them a while, I was busy waiting at the limerick train station in my wheelchair that day as apparently wookster was coming down to fight me, he never showed

day 3: I think someone went up to see if any UIE were active, we lost 4 battlecruisers in low sec afterwards, financial victory due to insurance

day 4: someone petitioned my bio and had it wiped, it took me over 2 minutes to re-write it, a sour loss, at this point we could see UIE were in it for the long haul, and were not afraid to bring it

day 5 - day 16: we all bought silent hunter III and played that for 2 weeks, bismarck kept playing eve though because he gave his copy of silent hunter III to his cousin/family/other member of his large cave dwelling clan, he lost about 15 battlecruisers while the rest of us were being submarine captains

day 17: I went up to their home system in a myrmidon, I couldnt find anything so amused myself with pornography instead and then made some soup leaving gneez afk at a gate and the client minimized in their home system for 2 hours, then I went back home to amarr and logged, bismarck lost several ships in low sec while I was afk

day 18: we all forgot we were at war and one of us was autopiloting around high sec in an orca for the day moving stuff until we all realised we were at war then we stopped and began theorycrafting about what if you had lost that orca wouldnt we look stupid

day 19: we retracted the war because we all forgot we were at war and their home system is like 9 jumps away and its too far and I wanted to run lvl 4's for LP and that guy in the orca just keeps flying around in it on autopilot

    Kills: 0
    Losses: 37 (unrelated)
    Other Losses: 1 bio wiped

another solid campaign of combats under ship spinners inc's belt

Might as well reply because this place rarely gets any posts.

I only saw Gneez once (Alongside Darkireland) the night this epic war erupted. I was the only one on and was very much cloaked off the gate fail-camping it alone because my fellow corpies have real lives or some sh1te.
(not that I would have engaged anyway, I'm horrible at this game still)

Few days later Darc Kahaar and DarkIreland (same guy?) arrived , with me alone again, and asked me to drop my pants.. I declined but enjoyed the brief chat in local.

    ---Fast Forward---

Everyone in UIE carries on being hopeless isk whores and carebears while Ship Spinners go get fights elsewhere.

    Kills: Countless Guristas
Losses: Ni Khan ( he ran for the hills as soon as the dec landed to..join a pvp corp*)

    * Good thing they don't check references aye man :D

Ah there's there Darkie I know. Still got your chonk as slave labour for Darkie?

I'd love to be your meatshield. Or maybe even just on the wrong end of your meat - I really miss the innurendo - but I just don't fancy goin back to sitting in Eve for 12+ hours a day, spinning my ship (and of course, moaning about it).

    :(

    As if homie. :p

I spent all of 2 years "playing" Eve - a drop in the well by most of the learned smitemeisters around here, but nonetheless a significant amount of ship spinning, ratting and whining about said ship spinning and ratting was done in that time. :D

Clearly, I just couldn't stop sucking (you're a hard man to please Darkie), and so the only logical thing to do was emoragequit. So what makes you think things will be any different this time - especially seeing as how (judging by the gist of Gneez's original post) nothing has changed!

Well I hope things can get back to normal, as in, me asking noob CEO questions and general banter amongst the Irish posse.

How will we ever take down the sneaky Russians otherwise?!?!?!?!?!

the only thing that needs to change, is your point of view maaaaaaaaan, change where you're coming from and its a psychedelic spaceship experience

Ah yeah, I mean, it's a good ship, but, if you take into consideration that the enemy brings more ships, you run the risk of dying and quite frankly I don't like the thought of that. I'm gonna fit out my Domi, I know it's gonna die, in fact, I don't think I'll bother, it's all pointless, time for din dins, afk 5 weeks.

FFS - we've heard nothing but moans for the last week about that. He was waiting at your dole office! ;)

Ah c'mon now, thats a bit of an exaggeration. I never went afk for more than 4 weeks at a time :p
