Changing Subject Level

    Well everyone,
    Im choosed everything at high level but after getting back to school (hospital) i realised that i wont be able to do well in German which really stresses me as i picked it for the leaving cert. But anyway i want to do ordinary in that because im not able to do listening ... . But its really late now and our principal was saying that you cant do it later so im wondering if there is a way of moving down to ordinary in the JC at this stage ?. Im not able to pick the stuff up because i need to pick the other subjects as well and my german teacher doesnt care about me and other students ...

    So hope someone helps me with this ...

    Did yee fill in the forms saying you were doing HL?
    AFAIK you can still drop down but its a kinda long process thing, you'll have to tell your teacher and your principal and you'll need a singed note from your parents/gaurdians and then thats sent on to the state exam commission and they see if they can get another paper for you!
    So it is possible but it doesnt always work out, just try ask your prinicple! :)

    Sorry sorry, well its our principal who you should say it to even if you have done so already, official closing date for levels isn't up yet as far as I'm aware even if you have signed I'm pretty sure there still is time, I'd say it to your principal again.

    If you're not failing terribly I'd say stay up even if your germanteacher isn't too fussed it's not about them, and as you mentioned you're doing it for the LC so all the more reason to stay at higher level, If you still feel the same though go back to your principal!

    You've probably filled out the forms already. I'd say it's pretty hard to change now :(

    M&S* Haha doubles that never worked out havent seen you there in ages :D

    @Topic i havent spoke with my principle but he wont be happy ... If i learnt off all the letters and that stuff id probably get a high D or low C but im too lazy fot that (M&S* sure its jus' da' junior cert as you said). Still could go over things over holidays and pick honours for the LC.

    Im screwed i did sign the form. The official date is 30th of march as far as i know.

    @Off topic writing my journals for tomorrow this will be a long night ;)
