    hey there
not to sure where to begin here tbh,
i have a male friend who is 22 y/o, grew up with this guy all me life i know him since i was about 5.
He was always a genuine sound fella who was always there if ya needed him life and soul of the party and funny ,yano the kind?.
Over the last year though im noticeing big differnces in his behaviour, hes really distant with everyone, keeps his phone off most days, wont come out at the weekend and he always seems ta have something eatin him up inside, always has a confused look on his face.
he Use to have no problem with getting women, nowadays he just shows no interest he hasn't be on a date in bout 12/13 months and has been smokin marijuana abit heavy.
he has been unemployed a while now maybe that could be it i dono when i ask him anything he just says he hasn been himself,

im really worried he going to do something stupid jst a gut feeling i have. is there anything i can try say to him or talk to him if he wont acknowledge he has a problem.

What you're saying here should be directed at your friend. He has things going against him right now, including unemployment (and with that the potential feeling of 'uselessness') and his use of marijuana. I have read reports about how such drugs can induce unwanted states in individuals. I have seen it first hand too.

Cast aside the male stereotype and talk to him as a human being. You are worried about his well-being and that is what you must convey to him. I imagine that his parents have already recognised his behaviour too (?)
