I've read/heard that Pope's meant to be out for a month+ so is a major doubt for Sacrifice

They could just easily do an injury angle and set up a match for Slammiversary but the (great) segment last night did build towards a Sacrifice match. I wouldn't be surprised to Kaz vs. Williams added, something to do with 3D and The Band (maybe including EY) plus maybe Moore and Neal vs. Morgan and ???. AJ vs. RVD or a Triple Threat with Hardy?

In fairness to TNA, their PPV cards are starting to consistently look unreal on paper. The amount of talent they have is actually frightening. There no reason why they can't be having one MOTY candidate on every PPV they air a la Angle/Anderson.

With TNA PPV's these days it's gone back to the question of whether they'll cut them loose and let them have a match of the year candidate (like Angle/Anderson) or completely overbook them (like Styles/Abyss and Lethal Lockdown). The depth of talent and star power they have is astounding, all they have to do is present a good TV show and actually advertise the damn thing and they'd actually do well.
