How Long to get renewed licence processed

Hi

Does anyone know how long it will take to get my full drivers license renewal processed?

I will apply for it tomorrow in the tax office and will need it by 6th May as Im heading of to Crete for work...as a driver :mad:

Well if you get a letter from work it shouldn't take longer than a week or two, otherwise about a month in my experience

I got mine renewed last July and they did it there and then for me, I just had to wait about 10 mins but I suppose it really depends on how busy they are at the time, if they have alot to do they will probably just post it out to you.

You'll have it in a few days, no need for company letters or anything like that. I renewed mine last week, dropped the application in and received the new one in the post 2 or 3 days later.

Any idea what the current wait is for renewing driving licence? I posted mine back to the tax office in Queen Street, Dublin 1 last Thursday, any ideas when I should expect to receive it?

4 or 5 weeks I'd imagine at the max.
