free meteor texts and internet

    I have signed up to the free meteor internet and texts on my iphone 3g.now when I use these
    settingphoto-3.jpg
    I cannot get on -line at all.

    When I use these settings photo-2.jpg

    I get on- line no problems but Im being :confused: charged for the pleasure! Has anyone with the iphone got this working and what settings are they using thanks Joe

    Settings I'm currently using on meteor are:
    APN: isp.mymeteor.ie
    User: my
    Pass: meteor

    that works for me anyway

    Did you sign up for the free texts and internet on meteor 250 a month, I had free calls and texts but changed to free internet and cannot access the internet with those setting now.I could before tho!

    No I'm on bill pay lite (the origional one). they're just the settings I'm currently using on Meteor. I didn't realise that they'd have different server addresses for everyone.

    The settings for data are the same for everyone as far as I know, regardless of what plan/ offer you have signed up for.

    The settings I use are:

    Data
    APN - data.mymeteor.ie
    Username - my
    Password - meteor

    MMS
    APN - mms.mymeteor.ie
    Username - my
    Password - meteor
    MMSC - http://mms.mymeteor.ie
    MMS Proxy - 010.085.085.085:8799
    MMS Max Message Size - 307200

    These settings work for me on PAYG with the free meteor texts/250mb internet.(also Ive been using these since last summer!)

    I had a problem though when I switched from free calls & texts to this offer, I was getting charged for everything (as in no free meteor texts or internet). I phoned Meteor and they said that both offers were active at the same time and were messing up my account. They cancelled both and signed me up again for the texts/internet over the phone and it was sorted. Maybe this is your problem? Try the settings first and if your still having problems give meteor a ring!
