Just looking for any advice on this issue, all replies appreciated.

RIGHT, house problems ( house 8yrs old - we're the 2nd owners)we have a leak in our roof caused by bad workmanship pretty much, something to do with the mix for the ridge tiles. All ridge tiles are porous aswell. Didnt get the leak until after the bad weather in nov/dec. So got on to insurance company, who sent out a contractor, and we got a polite **** off letter. My contractor said to try a loss adjustor and it took until last week to get another not so polite **** off letter.

Rang homebond, who informed me that they only cover the roof for 2years.

Roof gonna cost 2 grand to fix, money we dont have. Himself is out of work, luckily the weathers been dryish or we'd be in big trouble. What I wanted to know is if anyone has any other ideas bout getting it covered? should I go to the builders? Dont know what to do...
