    Hello there

If you've got a PM to your account from us advising you to check and change the passwords on your other accounts, please note that this is legitimate and from us.

We have a thread running in Feedback with information and questions that you can also check out.

    The PM reads:
    Hi

This message is a REMINDER to change your password on OTHER sites if it was the same as your password on Boards.ie.

In January 2010 we advised all members to change their passwords following an incident where member details from our database were accessed by an unauthorised source.

We would like to strongly advise any members of Boards.ie who have not done so to change the password you have on any of your online accounts if it was the same as your Boards.ie password. This includes sites like Facebook, Google, Bebo, Paypal, gambling sites or anywhere you have used your email address and password to log in.

We have updated our website with more information and you can find this thread here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055891871

Once again, we sincerely apologise for this inconvenience and hope you will understand our reasons for doing so.

If you have any questions or queries, please contact us at hello@boards.ie

    Kind regards

    Dav and Darragh
on behalf of the Boards.ie team
