Any TopTech T4-18 users out there - Battery query

So here's my situation/dilemma. Recently purchased a TopTech T4-18 (aka HK416) which is designed to have the battery installed in the foregrip, but there isn't much space so battery choices are limited. I could mount a PEQ but don't want to. I could also rear-wire it but that's not an option as the UBR stock I put on isn't designed to house a battery.

I want to run a LiPo, compared to NiMh they tend to be smaller/can help with RoF/have longer runtime/have higher recharge cycle rating. I want to use 7.4v rather than 11.1v as the gun wouldn't need any mods/upgrades to to run 7.4v, I might get away with 11.1v for a while but I expect something would break before too long (I'm a bit trigger-happy!)

I know there's an ASG-branded battery (ASG part # 16024) out there that will fit but it's only 1000Mah and has a low C-rating. There's also a Kong Power LiPo (http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/kong-power-74v-1900mah-lipo-split-battery--) that looks to fit the bill. What I'm looking for is feedback from other T4-18 users on what batteries they are using in their guns.

This might seem like a super obvious thing, but Ill say it anyway!! ;)

Is there a fuse holder and fuse in the foregrip?

Ive often had to move fuses and other ****e out of the way to fit batterys in properly!

I use an ASG 7.4v 1000mah Li-Po in mine. It lasted a full day in G-Tac from 10.30am to 5.30pm. I fired about 9 or 10 100rd mids through it on the day. The next day I brought it out into my back garden to see how much more BBs it would fire before running out of juice. I got about 500 more shots through it. Never used the spare. As you said in your original post, you're trigger happy so a spare would be advised.

    Thanks for the replies.

@stephenshields: Yes, there is a fuse in the foregrip but tbh I can't see how moving it will make any differnce, it's just a tricky place to fit a battery :(

@saulgoode: I will have a look @ the ASG batteries, I just never considered then spec as being good enough. 1000Mah probably isn't a big enough capacity for my (current) method of play, and it's also got a low C-rating which won't help. Is there any chance you could send me the dimensions of the battery, at least that way I could compare them to other LiPos that are closer to the spec I want?

    Thanks again.

    Good LiPo's at http://www.component-shop.co.uk/

To find the LiPo batteries go to: Batteries -> Radio Control -> Li-Po Flight Packs

The top half of the page is 7.4v, bottom half is 11.1v. All the specs and dimensions of the batteries are listed beside them.

    Update on the battery situation.

I bought a couple of the ASG twin-stick LiPos and they fit nicely into the T4-18, but as expected the runtime wasn't quite up to the task so I kept looking for better options.

I took a chance on ordering a couple of the Kong Power batteries detailed in OP (got them from GoTac, thanks Frank!) and the good news for other TopTech T4-18 users is that they fit in the handguard. There isn't a whole lot of room to spare but I didn;t have to jam them in and I should be able to get a LiPo alarm in there as well. I haven't used them in anger yet (will report back when I have) but the spec is good: 1900Mah which is a decent capacity & a very healthy C-rating of 22, which equates to almost 42A continuous current capability so there's no reason for the motor not to sing along.
