French Connection prices vs Arnotts

Has anyone else noticed the huge price differences between French Connection shops and buying French Connection clothes in Arnotts?

I bought a dress in French Connection powerscourt last weekend and it was 170 euro. They said at the till that it was reduced to 136 euro as they have some offer now where you get money off if the item costs more than 150 euro. i thought i was getting a great deal as the money off wasn't advertised anywhere in the shop. I was in Arnotts later that day and saw the exact same dress for 130 euro.

Another dress that i had tried on in French connection was 125 euro and i thought that was a bit dear so didnt buy it but saw it in arnotts for 95 euro so thought that was more reasonable and bought it.

Seems strange that there would be such a big difference in price between the two i would have thought French connection wouldnt want another store selling their stuff at cheaper prices as it would surely take some of their business?

    anyone else noticed this?

The same happened to me but in the States.

Fell in love with a French Connection dress in Macy's, put it on hold and found it in the French Connection shop with 50% off even though Macy's were already advertising it on sale!!

French Connection is even better value if you take a spin up to their shop in Belfast, they have huge fx variances!

The French Connection website in the UK will also deliver to Ireland, you pay in Sterling which is cheaper and you pay £10 for shipping up to 4 items.

I have noticed it to surely it should be regulated as consumers
are being ripped off all the time.
I guess all you can do is shop around and get the best deal possible.
