I just heard this today. Apparently there was a stabbing involving students from blackrock college on the night of the 150 year anaversary of the school, I've tried to find more info but to no avail. Can anyone shed any light on this situation? Apparently the daily mail ran a story on it but I can't seem to find it.

So why did we need to know it was a student from a particular school in a particular place? Snobbery?

    Yrs.
They'll blame it all on the flute from Monaghan and move on to work in their daddys' auctioneering firms.

    Ridiculous reverse snobbery.

Apparently, when he was stabbed, he said to his assailant, "Is it coz I is Blackrock?"

Because they perhaps "should" know better?
