They held a NF 8-32 x 56 prior to my Burris tactical mounts.
I had them on a 6.5mm no issues

    For the mounts?
    Open to offers

TBH can't remember what I paid for them

I've had them in the glove box 2 years or more now

I frequent MNSCI if that is any use.

I travel half the country on a weekly basis east west

I have donated all my triggers and spare mounts to a good mate.

    So Technically they are sold!

    TackleBerry,
I was thinking about doing the same to my 700's. I have heard great things about the Timneys - what was the price?

Did you try adjusting the factory trigger at all? I heard that they are not too bad if you tweak them from the factory please-don't-sue-us settings.

Also, let us know if the Timney lives up to the hype.

I have to say there is no comparison between a Timney and a tweaked Remmy Trigger.

I had my triggers on Both rifles down to the last, the timney just goes further.

the timney has a broad flat trigger so it has a nicer feel to it.

I paid €120 for the nickle plated one and €110 for the blackened one

Drop in do-it-yourself or is a gunsmith needed?

I'm pretty handy, not much on a car, motorcycle, or bicycle, aside from the trans, that I haven't fixed.

    Easy"ish"

The spring for the bolt release can be trickey.
It really is best with two people, i did it wit a gun smith, I held the rifle whilst he tapped the retaining bolt from the timney through the retaining bolt slot of the Remington.

So it's not a straight answer, but the truth, my gunsmith fits for free!

If you want the best trigger, get a Jewell. More expensive but 10 times better than a Timney :D.

    Maybe in time.
    I'm happy enough with The Tim's ;)

I'd prefer another Rifle to be honest.
