A good place to start is to look for Irish organisations in the city you're going to. They usually know where you will find accommodation and jobs which will take you for the summer. I've had some dealings with the people at www.iicenter.org and they are always open to meeting Irish people coming over and doing what they can.

Of course in saying that, don't expect to be babysat. Check out boston.craigslist.org for accommodation, jobs, gigs and the like. You might find something useful there. A lot of places will expect a years lease so don't get stuck with one of these. It can have bad repercussions if you leave early from one.

See how far you get with this and if you've any other questions just ask!
