Just wondering what would be the best M1911 or M.E.U on the market for €150 or less

I'm rather fond of my Tercel 1911, lovely pistol, great range and accuracy, full metal and has the correct trademarks. Not too bad at all for less than a €100.

The Army M1911 MEUs are good GBBs and cheap too. All the correct markings of Springfield Armouries and US army. They are fully compatable with most 1911 aftermarket parts too. The seals on the mag tends to go on them but a get a few TM MEU mags and you're set to go.

Personally recommend the KJW (or Cybergun) CO2 1911A1.

Full metal, great accuracy and AWESOME kick!

It's about €130 from Hobbyairsoft, or I got mine from Eirsoft for about the same a few years back.

If your choice is between WE, Socom Gear, or KJW, I'd strongly recommend KJW. They have great recoil, and the slide snaps back into place...feels beautiful. Best part is, you can get 'em in CO2, so no cool down. Feel great, look great, accurate (although be warned, the hop can take a bit of playing with before it's accurate) and makes you glad you bought what you did:)

I'd recommend the KJW full metal Co2 excellent feel & kick on them, they have both the Colt & S&W versions in Hobby Airsoft try them out & see which you prefer best prices in Dublin;)

The one niggle I have with carbon dioxide 1911s is that the magazine, and therefore the grip, have to be significantly chunkier than their real equivalents in order to contain the gas canister. They just don't feel like holding the real thing to me. All the plus points of carbon dioxide are completely true though.

I'd highly recommend the KJW models too, Ive got the S&W PD myself, and two friends have the Colt model. Fantastic kick off them and I think c02 is generally more useful here. They've got decent range and good accuracy (after messing with the hop adjustment as Inari said)

The PD is a bit chunkier than the classic Colt model, bit it has a under-barrel rail so you can fit a laser or torch if you want. Whatever tickles yer fancy!

KSC make fantastic pistols as well and their M1911s are nice.

I love the looks of this one I just bought ..
it's the WE 1911MEU Desert Warrior...there's a more upto date model now with full trademarks and some refinements on redwolf but they're out of stock. (orange tip is only on US models)

I also have this one..very accurate and the mags are easy to look after unlike the WE ones which are a bit finicky.

This man speaks wisdom. Out of all the pistols I have shot that one is the best and I have had no problems with it.

Like the guys above have said - KJWorks (Cybergun) 1911A1 Co2 is freekin awesome! Feels and sounds incredible - no bringing big bottles of gas down the field - just a few co2 cartridges.

Hobbyairsoft have em in stock all the time. Go in to one of their shops and fire it if you can just for a comparison. There is none, imo.

Only issue I ever had was the loading muzzle on mine broke - easy fix in a few mins and worth it.

    I love it.:)

Fantastic pistol - not normally a fan of abs pistols, but this one is great. Nice weight in the hand and crisp blow back. Good range and accurate.

TM MEU all the way. I have had one of a year, lots of rounds fired out of it. Not one jam/problem with it. It has out lasted many of the C02 1911s, that some of my mates have.

They all have pro's and cons, but i would go with the KWA myself. The cybergun Co2 (or KJW one) has been known to burst the barrel bushing and eject the spring guide out the front, its not an enivitable problem, but ive seen enough of em to make it a factor when picking one.
The Tercel is nice aswell, as is the Army but they dont have the tight tolerences and performance of the KWA. :)
