Heading to these areas next month and was wondering if anyone has any tips? Obviously the film festival is on but what other things do you guys recommend? Is a trip to Genoa worthwhile? I'll be there for 7 days.

    Thanks.

If you're in Nice, a trip to Parc Phoenix, out near the airport is nice.

In Cannes, take the ferry to the Isle St. Marguerite for a nice day trip.

Thanks for that. Is it worthwhile spending a few days in Corsica?

    nice http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055226389

cannes has a wonderful beach so thats where most people spend their time, the beach to the right of the marina is much quieter than the one in the middle of town. there is also a nice castle you can go wander, its on a hilltop so its overlooks the whole town

don't miss eze, its just outside nice, the public buses to and from monte carlo stop at eze, really spectacular

Nice is the capital of the riviera and often overlooked because it's so close to Cannes.
The Musee Matisse is a beautiful art history museum, Parc phoenix, There are
some fantastic day trips Le grand tour is probably the best.

In Nice you should also try and see Place massena and phare et digue,
    Both really beautiful tourist spots.
