Assuming you're not a US citizen, then you'll have to clear immigration and customs - which could take some time. I'd think that 55 minutes is cutting it very fine, even with just hand luggage. Remember AC will close the flight 20 minutes or so before take off, so it gives you even less time to play with.

    thx for your response.

if i am not terrible wrong, doors closes about 10 minute prior to departure, which would give me 45 min.

further is lx at 2010 the only arriving maching and can't have more than 56 passangers. this should help the speed through customs, don't you think?

i know that it is thight, but i don't really have an other option...

It may speed through customs, but remember Swiss arrives at Terminal B) so you'll have to change terminals too (and re-clear security when you get to Terminal A). It's not a long distance between them, but you may have to wait for a train. Every minute will count!
