Best month for new albums in ages

teenage fanclub
lcd soundsystem
the national
band of horses
broken social scene

five fab bands( don't be a pedant about james murphy) with new albums all released in the same month = we are spoilt indie kids

any others I have missed

All great bands. I think the new We Are Scientists album is coming out next month aswell.

Cant wait to hear TFC and LCD especially.

Nada Surf was a big let down for me Broken Social Scene though ....... I'll say it has potential to grow on me

Freelance Whales's album came out on iTunes this month, ****ed if you want to find a hard copy in Ireland though.

Particularly excited about the Villagers album myself.

Also, don't think anybody's mentioned new albums by The Hold Steady, MIA and Cathy Davey out in May. Its a fine month and, indeed, a fine year for music.
