Montrose to US Embassy, Need help!

Need to travel from Montrose Hotel on the N11 to the American Embassy area (Wellington Road) tomorrow, Whats the best way to get there? Is there a bus or should I get a taxi? How much would a taxi actually cost me?

There isn't a great direct route, but you can get any bus along the N11 to Morehampton Road, about a 10 minute bus journey, and take a 10 minute walk from there through Herbert park.

The 10, 46a, 145 from outside UCD, across the flyover from the Montrose will get you to Donnybrook. The 63 goes right by the embassy, but is very infrequent, so you prob wont see one.
