Excellent shotgun. I got one for my nephew a few years ago. It was good enough to get him on the county junior clay team and it's killed more than it's share of game and vermin also.

He is saving up for a Browning or Beretta - it takes something of this class to better the Lumar:D

i bought a lumar scirocco 12g over and under brand new. i made a trade in, but he was looking for €735 without a trade.

You sure you bought it for 850?
Anyway, I'd be interested-So gonna offer 400 for it!

Im not letting it go for less than €500. I did in fact make a trade in for it though and i paid €735 with the trade so i must have got my wires crossed when i was posting that 2 years ago, but thanks for doing your homework on me. Anyways it there but for no less than €500. He wanted €850 for it but i traded in my old sport army for it.

    I've got one of this.
But I lost the safety slide lever behind the
    barrel selector.

Any one can help take Picts & measurement so I can make one?
Or anyone know where I can order online?

    Thanks.

Maybe sign up and ask for a link to a spares or parts store in the US that stock Lumar parts. They seem to be hard to track down alright. Doubtful fleabay will have what your looking for. ->http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/index.php

Just bought one of these today lads...second hand 500 blips. I think it was the best around, value for money wise and judging from reviews it seems to be a good gun. Very tidy and tight gun. Only complaint is not an automatic safety and the safety switch is very tight...I also want to know is the offset on the lever to break the gun normal!!??? seems to be fine, I'm just wondering about it now!

I ended up make one myself. I mean the missing safety pin behind it.

About the "too tight", u can re-adjust by pulling the spring below the safety pin, Not too much, A little at a time, Lube it and its good to go.

Rather than what others told me, to file the safety pin a little so the spring won't hold too much of it.
