so i have a synth that i brought back from the states.

im wondering if it has some sort of auto voltage switch in it or do i have to get a step up converter.

on the back of the synth it says 117v 50/60hz 24w

dont wanna risk just plugging it in.

anybody have any experience on this

220 to 110 converter seems like the solution. Make sure it has enough power though i.e. ensure that the transformer's wattage is equal to or above the synths requirement. Check manual for Wattage info.

To be sure to be sure - call Roland Ireland who have their own repair centre here.

It may be on the power spec beside the socket on the synth too?
