What information is available to the public about a Ltd company?

As an unhappy employee I am interested in making myself more unhappy by finding out such things as the total payroll, number of shareholders, and dividends paid to shareholders most recently for my employer.

Are these facts contained in the documents I can purchase from the CRO or are they private?

you'd be better off asking someone in the finance section

There are no statistic like that available to the public for Ltd companies unless they choose to publish them.

Go to cro.ie and you can download the most recent set of accounts for €3 (I think)

Caveat - depending on the size of the company the level of information required to be presented before the registrar may not be enough to answer your questions.

Private limited companies don't always pay dividends to the shareholders again to get all the information you require the company would have to satisfy the criteria of a Large Company
